"...Exciting and New..."

I'm off to cruise the Caribbean with Jewish singles. Why? To make sure that you guys have interesting material to keep you warm throughout the winter months. And because I need some relaxation that doesn't involve hibernating in my apartment in flannel pajamas because it's too cold to even let my feet touch the uncarpeted floor. (Want to read my Urban Kvetch post about going on the cruise? Don't let me stop you.) Internet access will be expensive and limited, so I can't promise heavy posting. But I'm going to try to do some posts in advance so you'll have what to talk about while I'm away. Let's start with a controversial topic: Love...is it really "exciting and new"? Or is love comfort, stability, and calm? And what is the craziest thing you've ever done for love (or for the possibility of love)?

Ft. Lauderdale, Puerto Rico, Antigua and St. Maarten, huh?
"...luxurious amenities (Spas, casinos, cafes, internet rooms….) designed to optimize your relaxation and vacation enjoyment."

"A stunning Shabbat at Sea."

Oh the sacrifices you make for your blog. You are such a humanitarian. :D

May you meet your sole mate on the cruise, to keep your feet warm in your icy apartment. Just know that if you do, a lot of guys on this blog are gonna be heartbroken.

The most meshugeh thing I've done for the possibility of love is to fly from LaGuardia to Detroit to meet a JDater. After talking on the phone 2 hours a day for a month, I was convinced I loved her.

When I spent time with her, I chas v'shalom often thought of killing her. That's not a good sign, is it? Simcha

The most crazy thing I have done for the POSSIBILITY OF LOVE is this :
I met a guy in a wedding in Tel Aviv,we spent over there the weekend with a lot of passion. i really liked him so much.
One month later I decided to fly since Switzerland ( where I acutally live ) to LA, all the way trought the ocean to spend New Year's eve with him in a ocean front flat in Redondo Beach.
I flew around 15 hours ( stand by ) and when I got to LA everything was ok but after 24 hours I realized that he was more interested in his computers game than on sleep/talk or whatever with me. So he spent in his stupid online game until 4 or 5 in the mornig while I was waiting him with a delicious Victoria's Secret baby doll...and alone and bored I fall asleep...
There I was, with my dream gone, a " gorgeous " single jewish man in his 40ths but in differtes world or stages ?...who know I never really understood what was going on within us....but somehow I liked him...Oh well...I dont regret but I was very stupid !!!!!!
