"Appalling Male Behavior, Aisle 2..."
Oy vey. Not to overwhelmingly harp on appalling male dating behavior, but I felt the need to share this from Chayyei Sarah, writing from Jerusalem.
The nutshell? They connected. She felt great. And then he went loony tunes. (That's my synopsis, not hers. Visit and see for yourself.)
And if you feel the urge to leave her a message of hope and encouragement, I'm quite certain that would be a mitzvah.

Sounds like Ms. Chayei is a bit too interested in talking and forming a connection. To a women, talking is like sex. To a guy, talking is talking.
It doesen't matter what happened to this guy in the past it's no excuse for his behevior. If he had dignity and a conceience he wouldn't have done it that way.

I think it's just appalling behavior.
I don't think his sex has anything to with him being a complete jerk.
It's hard to judge though w/o hearing his side of the story. I've learnt this from watching Judge Judy, Texas Justice, and Divorce Court. Who said tv wasn't educational? I'm practically Solomon now.
